1. Are You Available the Date of My Wedding?
This one may seem a no-brainer, but it's essential to make sure your wedding vendors are even available on your wedding date before scheduling your first meeting with them.
2. How Much is My Grand Total & What Are My Payment Options?
Make sure that you are also taking the initiative and keeping track of how much you are paying each of your wedding vendors and when payments are due. Getting all of your money questions taken care of in your first meeting helps prevent un-needed stress and confusion later.
3. What is Included in Your Packages?
Most wedding vendors have multiple service packages in different price ranges that included different services. You will want to find this out when researching vendors so that you can make and educated decision on what you are getting, for what you can afford. It could also be helpful to ask your vendors, "What packages/services would you recommend with my budget?"
4. Can I See Examples of Your Work?
Find out your vendor's website galleries, Yelp and social media pages to see helpful reviews and photos of their past work.
5. When Do You Need to Know Our Final Guest Count?
Many of your vendors will need to know your final count at least a few weeks before your wedding to make sure they are fully prepared to accommodate. For example, your wedding caterer will need to have enough time to order the right amount of food and your wedding coordinator and wedding photographers may need to find an assistant if your guest count has grown past a certain amount.
